About
SIF2025 is the next in a series of conferences that started from Australian Fracture Group meetings in 1974 and lasted for over two decades with 13 biannual meetings. The first SIF conference was held in Melbourne in 1998 in a new era, the most recent being the 13th SIF meeting in Adelaide in 2022. The meeting aims to provide a platform for academics, researchers, engineers, postgraduates, and other experts to discuss research and advances in structural integrity and failure associated with applications in the aerospace, biomedical, mining, marine, manufacturing, civil, and transportation industries.
SIF2025 continues this tradition and will be held at UNSW Sydney in May, when the city is lit up by the beautiful lights of Vivid Sydney, the largest festival of light, music ideas and food in the Southern Hemisphere and the largest event in Australia.
