Overview

The 6th China-Australia Polymer Meeting (CAPM-6) will be held on August 26-27, 2024, at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in the Colombo Theatre A on the Kensington campus. This series of meetings represents a dedicated bilateral gathering of esteemed polymer scientists and engineers from China and Australia. The CAPM series began with CAPM-1 at Donghua University in 2013, followed by CAPM-2 at Melbourne University in 2014, CAPM-3 at Peking University in 2015, CAPM-4 at the University of Queensland, and CAPM-5 at Sun Yat-Sen University in 2019. These meetings received initial funding support from the Australia-China Science and Research Fund (ACSRF) and the generous backing of respective hosting institutions.

The aim of CAPM-6 is to serve as a pivotal platform for facilitating robust scientific discourse, nurturing collaborations, and exploring the diverse facets of polymer science and engineering. This two-day conference aspires to surpass geographical boundaries, offering a dynamic space for over 100 leading scientific minds and emerging researchers, including 30 invited keynote speakers, from both nations to share groundbreaking insights, exchange knowledge, and shape the future of polymer science.

Over the two-day program of CAPM-6, we will explore the potential for expanding collaborative opportunities to include our leading scientific colleagues and emerging talent. Additionally, this meeting serves as a valuable platform for students to engage with cutting-edge scientific developments. We warmly invite you to join us at this significant event.

A tentative program for this meeting can be found on this webpage. A detailed program will be updated as the meeting approaches.

We look forward to welcoming you to UNSW in late August.
