UNSW Sydney (Paddington Art & Design Campus)
The Public Policy Network is an informal collective of Australian and New Zealand scholars of public policy and public administration. The annual conference provides an opportunity for scholars at all career levels, practitioners, and decision makers to meet and showcase current research, discuss policy issues, and connect through a community of research and practice. Presentations can range from early-stage research ideas to completed papers, and are held in a single-stream (no concurrent sessions) format.
The Call for Papers is now open. Please submit your abstracts (250 words) through this link.
The deadline for abstracts is Monday 16 October 2023.
Acceptance notifications will be emailed to participants by mid-November.
The conference program will include:
Wednesday 31 January 10am-4pm Postgraduate research student workshop and papers
Wednesday 31 January 5.30pm – 7pm PPN Conference Welcome - drinks and guest speaker
Thursday 1 February 9am – 5pm PPN Day 1
Thursday 1 February 7pm Conference Dinner (optional)
Friday 2 February 9am – 5pm PPN Day 2
The PPN will be held at the Paddington campus of UNSW Sydney, in the E block. This is the UNSW School of Art & Design campus, on the corner of Oxford Street and Greens Road, Paddington.

The Paddington campus is within a short walking distance of the CBD, Central Station, the SCG and Centennial Park, and a short bus ride to Bondi Beach. There are many restaurants and hotels within walking distance, in the area of Paddington, Surry Hills, Kings Cross, the CBD and Darlinghurst.
