About

The Australasian Experimental Psychology Conference (EPC) and Asia Pacific Conference on Vision (APCV) are holding a joint meeting in 2025, to be held at UNSW in Sydney, from June 17-20.

EPC aims to foster the next generation of Australasian experimental psychologists, and to provide a platform for researchers at all career stages to engage in a scientific exchange focused on experimental psychology.

APCV aims to facilitate discussion on vision research across Asia and the Pacific.

Together in 2025, the dual conference will welcome contributions from all areas of experimental psychology and vision research, with multiple topic-focused streams that delegates can switch in-between.

We encourage submissions on all topics of experimental psychology, encompassing human behaviour, cognition, perception, and vision research.

The venue for the conference will be the John Niland Scientia Building at UNSW Sydney, Kensington.

More information about the conference schedule will be published in due course – stay tuned for more information.

We are thrilled that Professor Mac Shine will be giving the APCV Keynote at EPC/APCV 2025.

Professor Shine is a Professor at the University of Sydney’s Brain & Mind Centre. In his work, he uses fMIR and other multimodal neuroimaging techniques to explore the systems-level mechanisms that govern cognitive function, both in health and disease. He has a particular interest in tracking brain activity patterns that reflect communication between regions of the brain, allowing for the characterization of dynamic patterns of brain activity that reflect both normal function and impairments in neuropsychiatric disease.
